Not firming up overnight? Run through the freezing checks.

Any cold drink. Juice, lemonade, soda, iced tea, iced coffee, cordial. Chill the drink before you pour it in, because the colder it starts the thicker the slush. Nothing hot, ever.

About 60 seconds of steady squeezing. You will feel the drink thicken through the walls of the cup, and that is your cue to stop.

Squeezing but nothing thickens? Here is what usually causes that.

Yes. It is moulded from BPA-free, food-grade material, with no blade, no motor and nothing to plug in. The freezing gel is sealed inside the wall and never touches the drink.

No. Hand wash only, in lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Dishwasher heat breaks down the freezing gel sealed inside the walls, so a cup that has been through a cycle will never slush the same way again.

Dry the outside, then stand it upright in the freezer. A dry cup refreezes faster and the gel stays evenly spread through the walls.

Almost always the lid is not seated on the arrows, or the cup was filled past the top ring. Line the lid up, keep the fill below the ring, and it holds. Full walkthrough here.

Nine times out of ten the cup went in warm or came out early. Give it a full overnight freeze, chill the drink first, and check your freezer is holding -18°C (0°F).

Tell us within 30 days and send a photo. We will replace the cup or refund it in full, and we pay the return postage on anything faulty.

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind and get your money back. In the first 14 days you can send it back however you like. Between day 15 and day 30 we ask that it comes back unused and complete, since it is a drink item. Return postage on a change-of-mind return is yours to cover.

Write to us the moment you spot the mistake. While the parcel is still with us we can usually swap the color, add a cup or cancel the whole thing.
