How long does the cup need to freeze?
Four to six hours is the minimum. Overnight is easier and more reliable. The freezer should be set to about −18°C (0°F) or colder.
What drinks work best?
Any cold drink. Juice, lemonade, iced coffee, soda, iced tea, sports drinks, milkshakes. Sugar helps the slush texture, so full-sugar drinks turn out best. Diet still works, just a slightly icier finish.
How long does the squeezing take?
About a minute of steady squeezing for most drinks. You will feel the drink turn to slush in your hands.
Is it safe for kids?

Once the empty cup has been in the freezer for four to six hours that gel is cold enough that squeezing the sides drives the chill straight through your drink, and it crystallises as you squeeze. The gel never touches what you are drinking.
How long does it stay slushy?
Fifteen to twenty minutes at room temperature, longer if you keep squeezing now and then. If it starts to loosen, a few more squeezes bring it back while the cup is still cold.
Can I use it more than once a day?
It needs to go back in the freezer between drinks to recharge, about four hours. If you want two in a row, keep a second cup frozen and rotate them.
Do I save anything buying more than one?
